Step 1 — Select the People to export

  1. Pipedrive → People tab
  2. Pick a view or create a filter: e.g. "People linked to an Open Deal" or "People not seen in 90 days"
  3. Verify you're seeing the right rows before exporting

Step 2 — Run the export

  1. ··· button at the top right of the list → Export view
  2. Format: CSV
  3. Select the columns: Person ID, Name, Email, Job title, Organization, LinkedIn URL (if a custom field exists)
  4. Pipedrive generates the file in seconds

Critical: keep the Person ID. That's the key to update without creating duplicates on re-import.

Step 3 — Import into Ovalead

  1. Ovalead → New job
  2. Drag-and-drop the Pipedrive CSV
  3. Ovalead detects the Pipedrive columns (Name → Full name, Job title → Title, etc.)
  4. Verify the mapping if needed

Step 4 — Run the verification

  1. Check Also enrich the company to get industry, size, website
  2. Pick the scan accounts (all by default)
  3. Create job — the scan starts
  4. For 1,000 People with 2 sources: ~25 minutes

Step 5 — Get and re-import into Pipedrive

Once the scan finishes, click Export CSV. The file contains all your Pipedrive columns plus the trace_* ones.

To re-import:

  1. Pipedrive → ···Import dataPeople
  2. Upload the Ovalead CSV
  3. Mode: Update existing persons
  4. Match on Person ID
  5. Map trace_new_titleJob title, etc.
  6. Run the import — Pipedrive updates without duplicates

Tip — Smart filter for records to re-scan

Create 2 custom fields in Pipedrive: trace_last_scan (Date) and trace_status (Single option). Then build a Pipedrive filter: "trace_last_scan is empty OR older than 90 days." That view becomes your monthly working list.
